Career: Had 18 stolen bases... 2009: Had the best season of his career.. led the team in steals and ranked third in batting average... had a four-for-five performance effort that included two runs, an RBI and a career-high three stolen bases against Haverford College....2008: Ranked second on the team with five stolen bases... went 2-for-4 with two RBIs against Lynchburg... 2007: Played sparingly in 11 games... scored winning run in game one of a Hampden-Sydney doubleheader... 2006: Played in 17 games as a reserve outfielder... his best game came in the 3/22 win over Penn State-Fayette where he had two runs and one hit...Personal: Earned Guilford's 2009 George T. Wynne Most Improved Player Award... Scholastic teammate of Michael Costa '09... lettered two years at Heritage H.S. under coach Keith Scruggs... received all-state honorable mention in 2005... first team all-region and All-Seminole District... helped the team to the 2005 state semifinals... lettered three years in basketball.... played American Legion baseball for Post 16 North in the summer of 2006... helped Legion team to district and state titles... played summer league baseball in Central Virginia in 2008… son of Terry and Machelle Berger... computer information systems and business major.
