Career

  • ranks third in school history in home runs and second in RBI
  • also ranked second in slugging percentage, sixth in hits, and third in batting average


2005

  • selected by the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association to all-state team
  • earned honorable mention recognition on the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-South Region team
  • received honorable mention All-ODAC honors
  • shared Guilford's Best Undergraduate Male Athlete Award with golfer Colin Clark
  • also selected as the team's Most Valuable Hitter and Most Valuable Player
  • led the ODAC in home runs and finished fourth in the conference in RBIs
  • led the Quakers in every offensive statistical category except runs, doubles and triples
  • had 17 multi-hit games, including a five-hit game versus Piedmont (2/26)
  • had two-homer game versus league-rival Eastern Mennonite (4/3). batted.450 with runners on base
  • hit .467 with runners in scoring position
  • topped Guilford's regulars with a .984 fielding percentage

2004:

  • selected as Guilford's Most Valuable Hitter
  • led team in home runs, runs batted in, total bases and slugging percentage
  • finished among ODAC leaders in home runs (T5th), batting (9th) and slugging (9th)
  • had 11 multi-RBI games, including five in one game versus Greensboro (3/3) and Randolph-Macon (3/20)
  • had 11-game hitting streak 3/27-4/15
  • was ODAC Athlete of the Week for the period ending 3/22, when he hit .529 with eight runs scored, 11 RBIs and a 1.059 slugging percentage

2003:

  • appeared in 18 games as a freshman.
  • recorded three multi-hit games and two multi-runs batted in games
  • also appeared in three games as a pitcher, going 0-1

Personal:

  • two-time letter winner for Coach Dennis Walker at Salesianum H.S.
  • all-Catholic Conference selection his senior season
  • helped Sallies to the 2001 State Championship
  • played for the Gildeas Raiders in the Delaware Semi-Pro Baseball League
  • also played three years for the Grand Slam Diamonds
  • brother, Tim, pitches in the Anaheim organization
