• shared Guilford's Most Valuable Pitcher Award with Dave Whigham
• led team in wins, complete games and saves (2)
• pitched Quakers' first nine-inning complete-game shutout since 2002 with a seven-hitter over Virginia-Wesleyan (3/12)
• earned ODAC Pitcher of the Week honors after that shutout
• limited leadoff hitters to a .200 average. allowed just one home run in 56.2 innings

2004

• finished second on the club with four wins, tops among freshman
• was the ODAC Pitcher of the Week (3/22), going 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA with seven strikeouts in 10.2 innings

Personal

• four-year letter winner for Coach Jamie Lowe at North Forsyth H.S
• pitched and played third base on the Vikings Metro 4-A Conference Champions that reached the 2003 state semifinals
• also lettered two years on the shooting team
• holds school record for highest archery score
• three-time member of Guilford's Student-Athlete Honor Roll
• helped the Kernersville Bulldogs to the 2004 Southern Collegiate Baseball League title
