Career: Finished with a 2-4 record with a 4.98 ERA... gave up 28 earned runs, walked 24 and struck out 38 in 55 innings... 2008: Had second-best ERA (4.60) with a 2-2 record... appeared in nine games with six starts before being sidelined by injury... pitched career-high nine innings and struck out seven in a win over Averett... 2007: Appeared in 10 games as a relief pitcher, but started the Quakers' last four games at shortstop... struck out four in 2.1 scoreless innings versus Villa Julie... Personal: Transferred from Wilkes Community College where he played for two years… lettered two years under coach Doug Welch at R.J. Reynolds H.S… earned All-Central Piedmont Conference honors as a senior… was chosen as Reynolds’ co-MVP with teammate Jay Laramore ‘10 in 2004… son of Roger Lane.
