Biography

2015

  • appeared  in 30 games this season, including 29 starts in center field
  • played excellent defense in the crucial position and finished fifth in putouts with 74
  • had a .320 batting average and .398 slugging percentage were both best on the team
  • 41 hits were first on the team, as were his 17 runs batted in
  • led the team in at-bats with 128 and total bases with 51
  • best performance of the year came in a May 17th win over Emory and Henry, collected four hits in seven at-bats, including his first and only career home run, with three runs batted in

 


2014

  • started in 38 of 39 games in center field
  • ranked fifth on the team with a .333 batting average
  • had seven doubles, three stolen bases and 16 RBI
  • his 54 hits and 37 runs scored stood as the third-highest marks on the team
  • a top performance came Feb. 2 against Piedmont College when he went three-for-four with two RBI, two doubles and two runs scored
  • was four-for-six at Virginia Wesleyan College Mar. 1 with an RBI, a double and three runs scored
  • had the game-winning hits in back-to-back April contests, first against Greensboro College Apr. 9 and the following day against 26th-ranked Lynchburg College
  • won the team’s Gold Glove Award, given to the club’s top fielder
  • recorded 108 putouts, three assists and had a fielding percentage of .982

2013

  • started in 30 of his 34 games for the Quakers
  • hit .289 with 35 hits, 21 runs scored, three doubles and six stolen bases
  • best performance came Mar. 27 against Roanoke College when he went three-for-five with a double and an RBI
  • went three-for-four at Methodist University Apr. 17 with two runs scored and a stolen base

2012

  • appeared in 17 games, primarily as a pinch-runner, with one start in the outfield
  • scored seven runs and stole two bases
  • went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double against Tufts on Mar. 19
  • scored a run in four consecutive games
