Guilford College

Scanio is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from Tampa Catholic High School in 2016. Chenzo made 19 appearances with a 2.22 ERA, 28.1 innings, and 30 strikeouts. He then went on to Coastal Alabama Community College in Alabama where in two years made 35 appearances with a 3.56 ERA, 48 innings, 42 strikeouts and 5 saves. Scanio finished his playing career at Greensboro College where he made 33 appearances, with a 4.22 ERA, 63 innings, 51 strikeouts, 5 wins, and 3 saves. Scanio started his coaching career with Hit Factory Baseball in Tampa.

Currently resides in Greensboro with his girlfriend Cierra. Enjoys fishing and playing cornhole when away from the diamond.
