Biography

Career: A four-year starter... had a .332 career batting average in 142 games (137 starts)... leaves Guilford ranked fourth in school history with 131 RBI and seventh with 184 hits... his 130 career runs place fifth on the Quakers' all-time list and his 33 doubles rank sixth... hit 17 career homers, Guilford's ninth-highest total... 2007: Second Team All-ODAC honors... a switch-hitting team captain...received the league's Baseball Player of the Week Award (March 26)... hit .366 with three homers and 21 RBI against league rivals... ranked among ODAC leaders in RBI and stolen bases... led Guilford with eight multiple-RBI games and ranked third on the team with 12 multiple-hit contests... went four-for-five with a homer and six RBI against Lynchburg... went four-for-five with a double, triple and six RBI against Emory & Henry... his 12-game hitting streak from Mar. 19-Apr. 13 ranked second on the team and added 116 points to his batting average... after beginning the year as Guilford's top starter, developed into the team's top reliever down the stretch... 2006: Earned ODAC Player of the Week and Guilford Student-Athlete of the Week.... started 37 of 39 games as an outfielder... ranked 4th on the team in batting average, second in runs scored, and third in runs batted in... also had five steals, second best on the team... 2005: Earned honorable mention recognition on the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-South Region team... led the team in triples and RBI... finished second on the club in home runs and slugging percentage (.573)... ended the season by hitting safely in 16 of Guilford's final 17 games... had five-hit games versus league-rival Eastern Mennonite (4/3) and Bluefield State (4/25)... had a five-RBI game versus Vassar (3/8)... pitched one-third of an inning versus Averett (2/16)... 2004: Started 29 games as a freshman... took over at second base when 2002 ODAC Rookie of the Year Brian Slate was lost with an injury... posted a four-hit game versus Greensboro (4/20)... led the team leaders in triples and finished among the best in runs batted in (T4th), batting average (5th) and total bases (5th)... hurled a scoreless inning with two strikeouts versus Greensboro (3/3) in his only pitching outing of the season...
