2017

  • appeared in seven of the 10 games as a defensive back
  • made seven total tackles, six of which were solo
  • his best performance came against Washington and Lee University when he had three tackles, one for a loss of five yards
  • was part of the Quakers’ defense that led the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in (ODAC) fewest passing yards allowed

  • Named to Student-Athlete Honor Roll 
  • lettered three seasons for coach Germane Crowell at Carver High School
  • Coach Crowell is Amari's uncle and a veteran of five seasons as a wide receiver with the Detroit Lions (1998-2002)
  • Earned First Team All-Western Piedmont Athletic Conference (WPAC) honors
  • Graduated with Carver's school record for interceptions in a game with three
  • Helped Carver win WPAC championships in 2014 and 2015
  • Also sprinted for Carver's track and field team and was a two-time all-conference selection
  • Was an honors student and member Student Government Association member
  • His uncle, Angelo Crowell, played five years as a linebacker with the NFL's Buffalo Bills
