Biography

Career

  • played in 33 career games as a running back, halfback, and on special teams
  • in his first two years as a running back, carried 211 times for 585 yards and eight touchdowns
  • played halfback in his final two seasons and made 32 catches for 234 yards and five touchdowns 

2014

  • started in four games as a running back, but missed the remaining games with injury
  • had eight receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown on the season
  •  contributed two tackles (one solo) on special teams
  • one of his best performances was Sep. 6 in the season opener against Greensboro College when he had four receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown

 2013

  • started all 10 games this season as a full-back and on special teams
  • made  nine special teams tackles  (5 solo, 4 assisted)
  • did not have any carries, but made 11 receptions for 94 yards, including four touchdowns
  • one of his best performances came in a loss against Averett where he finished with four receptions for 51 yards and one touchdown

2012

  • played in nine games for the Quakers this season, starting one
  • rushed for 119 yards during the season on 42 attempts with three touchdowns

  •  best game came in a win against Averett University on Sept. 15, where he rushed for 72 yards on 10 carries with one touchdown
  • had a career-long 31-yard rush in his effort

2011

  • finished the season ranked 10th in the ODAC and first on the team with 466 rushing yards on 169 attempts
  • started in nine of the Quakers' 10 games
  • scored a team-high five touchdowns, including two in Guilford’s Nov. 5 win at ODAC-rival Catholic University of America
  • ran for a career-high 85 yards Sept. 17 against Averett University

  • First Team All-Piedmont Athletic Conference-6 honoree
  • Jordan's Most Outstanding Running Back (2010)
  • lettered three years in baseball

  • starting fullback on his Pop Warner football team, which won the 2003 national championship
  • cousin, Deunta Williams, is a former safety for UNC Chapel Hill's football team
