Wes Johnson

Career

  • appeared in 40 contests over his four-year career 
  • helped pave the way for many of Guilford’s top offenses and rushes in school history
  • three-time All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) pick
  • earned second-team honors as a sophomore in 2013, first-team laurels as a junior and second-team recognition as a senior

2016

  • team captain
  • started in each of Guilford's 10 contests at left tackle
  • earned All-ODAC honors for the third time in his career with a second second-team selection
  • blocked for the ODAC’s most potent offensive attack as the Quakers had 4,764 total yards and a league-best 476.4 yards per game
  • blocked for De'Eric Bell’s school-record rushing performance against Methodist and helped  post the second-highest team rushing yardage total (2,109) in school history
  • Guilford set standards for rushing touchdowns in a season (27) and rushing yards in a game (416, vs. Methodist)

2015

2014

  • helped clear the way for Guilford's first 1,000-yard rusher since 1994
  • protected for Guilford's passing offense, which ranked third in the league

2012

  • played in all 10 games with nine starts for the Quakers
  • played for an offense that ranked third among the ODAC passing leaders with an average of 261.1 yards per game
  • the Quakers averaged 23.9 points and 376.1 total offensive yards per game
  • blocked for Mike Williams, who ranked seventh among the league’s rushing leaders with 717 rushing yards and had three 100-yard rushing games
  • Guilford had three contests with at least 400 total offensive yards, including a 565-yard effort in the Quakers’ road win over league-rival Randolph-Macon College, the fourth-most prolific offensive game in school history
