• blocked for Mike Williams, who ranked seventh among the league’s rushing leaders with 717 rushing yards and had three 100-yard rushing games
• Guilford had three contests with at least 400 total offensive yards, including a 565-yard effort in the Quakers’ road win over league-rival Randolph-Macon, the fourth-most prolific offensive game in school history

2011

• started seven of 10 games, regularly at guard and center
• helped Guilford's offense rank fourth in passing offense (234.5 yards per game) and fifth in both rushing offense (103.8 yards per game) and sacks allowed per outing (1.40)

Personal

• participated in the 2013 Grandfather Mountain Highland Games where he placed second in his class in the clachneart (stone put)
• volunteered on a 2012 spring-break service trip with Friends' Disaster Services
• lettered three seasons under Guilford Athletics Hall of Famer Johnny Roscoe '71 at Northern Guilford High School
• earned All-Mid-State 3AA Conference honors
• helped the Nighthawks to a 44-7 record in four seasons
• played on Northern Guilford's 2010 state championship team
• earned all-conference recognition as a four-year letter winner on the lacrosse team
• active with Northern Guilford's speech & debate team, chess club and Ultimate Frisbee team
