2009: Started nine of 10 games at left guard... helped Guilford to its best rushing season since 2001... Quakers' offense ranked fifth in the ODAC in total offense (308.5 ypg) and rushing offense (145.2 ypg)... Guilford's passing offense ranked fourth in the league with 163.3 ypg and allowed 17 sacks this season, which ranked fifth in the ODAC... Personal: lettered four seasons at Porter Ridge High School under coach Blair Hardin... was a two-year All-South Piedmont Conference selection and the team's MVP his senior year... Nguyen also lettered in track... son of Tung and Ann Nguyen... criminal justice major.
