2008: Ranked third on the team and 11th in the ODAC in tackles with 64... also ranked sixth in the conference with 10.5 tackles for loss... best performances of the season came against Southern Virginia and Averett where he had 13 and 10 tackles respectively... Personal: Transferred in fall 2008 from Methodist University where appeared in one 2007 game… lettered four years at Eastern Randolph H.S. under coach Burton Cates… helped the Wildcats to the 2007 state championship… two-time All Mid-Piedmont Conference and All-Randolph County team pick… son of Jimmy and Cindy Hammond… exercise and sport sciences major... history minor.
