2008: Played in eight of 10 games this season, starting the final two... best performance came against Catholic University Nov. 8 when he made 10 total tackles with one for loss in his first college start... made five stops at Emory & Henry (11/15).... also regularly played on Guilford's special teams... Personal: Lettered two seasons at Millbrook High School for coach Clarence Inscore, a 1992 Guilford graduate and football alumnus... led his team to the third round of the 4-A state playoffs in 2004 and 2007... captain his senior season.. named the team's defensive player of the year and earned All-CAP 7 Conference honors... three-time wrestling letter winner, received all-conference laurels and was a state regional qualifier... also considered Catawba College, North Carolina State University, and East Carolina University... son of Jeff and Tami Bennett... liberal arts major.
