Women’s Tennis Pushes Back ODAC Quarterfinals Clash Due To Rain

Quakers will now battle Hornets on Thursday, April 30th at Sweet Briar College

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Guilford College women's tennis team, in collaboration with the University of Lynchburg, have adjusted their Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Quarterfinals clash while also changing location, the departments announced on Tuesday.

The Quakers and Hornets will now battle for a crack at the league's final four on Thursday, April 30th with an opening serve still at 2:00 PM. Additionally, the contest will not be played on the campus of Lynchburg, and instead will transpire down the road at the tennis complex at Sweet Briar College.

The changes come due to a soggy forecast in the region over the next couple of days and the hope is the change will bring better conditions for all participants, workers, and fans. In that vein, Guilford Athletics would like to emphasize the interest of safety as the games approach, and wish all safe travels.
