Men’s Tennis Sees Weekend Tournament at Pfeiffer Postponed

With a rainy forecast, event gets delayed to undetermined date

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Guilford College men's tennis team, in collaboration with Pfeiffer University and other competing teams, and with a suboptimal forecast looming, have made a schedule change, postponing the Knapp Family Invitational Tournament originally to take place on Friday and Saturday, PU as announced on Thursday morning.

The Quakers next match will come on October 4th against Montreat College on October 4th. The updated date for the tennis tournament in Misenheimer has yet to be announced.

The changes come as the teams hope for better conditions for all participants, workers, and fans. In that vein, Guilford Athletics would like to emphasize the interest of safety as the games approach, and wish all attendees safe travels.
