EMORY, Va. – Guilford College women's rugby went down to play Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday, falling 51-0. While the Quakers were not able to put any points on the board, they did play some solid defense and worked hard to slow down the Royals attack.
Standout tackles came from
Hannah Hatfield (Penhook, Va.) and
Jasmine Cartwright (Kalispell, Mont.), keeping the Royals on their heels.
The Quakers next, and final match at home of the fall, comes up on Saturday, October 25
th for their Breast Cancer Awareness match. Kickoff is set for 11:00 AM for their pair of clashes opposite Warren Wilson and UNC-Greensboro.
