GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Methodist University were Guilford's next opponents down at the McMichael courts on Sunday afternoon for a non-conference matinee. After going down 2-1 in doubles, the Quakers were unable to mount a comeback. GC then lost four of six singles matches, falling 6-3.

With the loss, GC now sits at 5-4. The Monarchs rebound with the victory to 3-5.

Andres Mercedes (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) and Brandon Hermes (West Hartford, Conn.) were keyed in, netting two of Guilford's three points in today's match. The two picked up victories at no. 1 and no. 2 singles, respectively.
