FOREST, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its annual All-Conference awards. Four members of the Guilford College baseball team led by freshman Rylan Smith who was named Rookie of the Year.

Beside being named Rookie of the Year, Rylan Smith was named All-ODAC First Team at third base. On the season, he led the Quakers with an average of .430 with 64 hits, nine home runs, 51 RBI and 45 runs.

Colin Smith received First Team honors at catcher. In the box, Colin hit for .376 with 38 hits, 28 RBI, 22 runs and four homers. Behind the plate, he led the team and conference with 13 runners caught stealing.

At first base, Isaiah Hairston was named All-ODAC First Team. Hairston batted .421, totaling 69 hits, 57 RBI, 53 runs with a team-high 13 home runs. Fielding wise, out of 335 chances, Hairston totaled 311 putouts with 22 assists for a percentage of .994.

The final Quaker to be named All-ODAC First Team was Chase Wade as a utility player. From the plate, Wade hit .327 with 34 hits, 27 RBI, 25 runs and three home runs. On the mound, Wade made 14 appearances with 2-1 record and 5 saves in 24.2 innings pitched with 30 strikeouts.
