The Guilford College men's lacrosse team traveled to Randolph-Macon College to take on the Yellow Jackets. The Quakers fell in a 22-10 loss.

Randolph-Macon opened the scoring with the first two goals. Gabe Alverez was able to put the Quakers on the board. The Yellow Jackets took complete control with 12 unanswered goals to take a 14-1 lead in the middle of the second quarter.

Andrew Burch was able to stop the bleeding for the moment with a goal with 4:56 left in the second. Randolph-Macon notched the final two goals to lead 16-2 at the break.

To start the second half the Quakers let in two goals but were able to answer with two of their own from Joe Hirvonen (man-up goal) and Seth Woods.

Randolph-Macon was able to maintain its lead by scoring four more to make the score 22-4. The Quakers were able to get some offense going by the end of the game by scoring six-straight to end the game. 

Gabe Alvarez and Joe Hirvonen led the team with four points while Devin Morse finished with two goals and an assist.

Guilford remains on the road to face Averett University on Wednesday, April 5. Start time is set for 7:00 p.m.
