The Guilford College men's lacrosse team hosted the Roanoke College Maroons. The Quakers fell in the home match, 26-7.
Roanoke took early control of the game and scored the opening 12 goals.
Cam Walters got Guilford on the board with 6:07 left in the first half.
The Maroons scored the next two goals until
Gavin Brown scored two of his own. At the half, the Quakers trailed 14-3.
In the third, the visitors netted the first five goals until Brown and
Jax Atkins went back-to-back.
Roanoke scored the next seven goals until Brown scored the final two goals of the contest.
Guilford hits the road on Saturday, April 1 to face the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon. Face-off is set for 2:00 p.m.
