The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its Players of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 19. Guilford's Tyler Dearman was named the conference's men's basketball player of the week.

Dearman, a graduate student from Greensboro, led the charge for the Quakers as the team went 2-0 including an 83-80 overtime win over 19th-ranked Emory University. Last Wednesday, Dearman scored 23 points with three assists and two steals in a 75-59 win over North Carolina Wesleyan.

Against Emory, the fifth-year player dropped a career-high 31 points with six rebounds and assists while tallying four steals. During the game, Dearman went 14-14 from the free throw line. Just two weeks into the season, he ranks second in the ODAC in points per game (25.0) and first in steals per game (5.7).

Guilford faces Pfeiffer University on Tuesday, November 21 to close out before Thanksgiving break. Start time is set for 7:00 p.m.
