Guilford Trounces Warren Wilson

The Guilford College women's soccer team played their home opener versus Warren Wilson College. It ended in a dominant 6-0 win.

The Quakers (2-0) started off hot with a goal at the 3:47 mark by Gracie Mayer and a penalty kick goal scored by Baylee Greenwood. Guilford College ended the half up three goals. 

The momentum continued into the second half with Olivia Santos scoring at the 48:31 minute mark. The Quakers went on to score two more goals in the second half, making the final score 6-0.

In the dominant win, Guilford outshot Warren Wilson 32-1, with 17 corner kicks in the contest.

Guilford remains home against William Peace on Tuesday, September 6. Start time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
