Guilford Draws Even on the Road

The Guilford College women's soccer team traveled to Pfeiffer University to compete against the Falcons. The match ended in a 0-0 draw. 

Guilford (4-0-1) opened play with possession but both sides were even. The Quakers came on strong by taking the first shot by Madison Green. 

At the 30-minute mark, Guilford received its first yellow card that resulted in a throw-in by Pfeiffer. As halftime approached, the score remained tied 0-0.

Throughout the second half, the Quakers totaled seven shots and two saves while the Falcons tallied four shots and three saves. As the final horn sounded, the game ended the way it started, 0-0.

Ady Franken was able to make two saves out of the six shots that were taken in the match. 

The Quakers will host our neighbors, Greensboro College, on Tuesday, September 20 for a 7:00 p.m start time.
