The Guilford College men's lacrosse team hit the road for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup with 13th-ranked University of Lynchburg. The Hornets bested the Quakers, 25-5.
Lynchburg took early control of the game and scored the first 17 goals over the first and second periods.
Nick Honkomp got Guilford on the board with 11 seconds to go in the half.
The Hornets opened the second half by scoring the first two goals before
Devin Morse netted a pass from Honkomp at the 11:59 mark. Lynchburg responded with four-straight until
Joseph Hirvonen scored the final goal of the third.
Andrew Burch and Morse each scored to start the fourth. The Hornets scored the final two goals before the end of the game.
Guilford will host Virginia Wesleyan University on Saturday, April 16. Start time is set for 12:00 p.m.
