The Guilford College women's tennis team welcomed Randolph College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup. The Quakers were victorious over the WildCats, 6-3.
Guilford (3-4, 3-1) claimed two of the three doubles matches.
Madyson Schreiber and
Hannah Pardue won first doubles, 8-2 before
Jolie Nhouyvanisvong and Bea Niyibzi took second doubles, 8-5.
At first singles, Schreiber was pushed to three sets but game out victorious with scores of 5-7, 7-5 and 6-3. Pardue (6-3, 6-1) and Nhouyvanisvong (6-1, 6-1) won at second and third singles, respectively.
Nya Reed tallied the final win for the Quakers at fifth singles after going three sets (3-6, 6-4, 6-4).
The Quakers are set to travel to Roanoke on Friday, March 18 to face the Maroons. Start time is 2:00 p.m.
