The Guilford College men's tennis team took on the Randolph College WildCats. The Quakers came out on top, 7-2.
In first doubles, the team of
Drake Schreiber and
Evan Wong fell 8-2 but Guilford (4-1, 3-0) bounced back with a win from
Jay Montague and
Tye Sasser, 8-5. The Quakers also won by default at third doubles.
Randolph took first singles 6-1 and 7-6 but it was the final victory for the visitors. Montague won at second singles 6-4 and 6-1 while
Andrew Ferris claimed third singles, 6-3 and 6-1.Â
Wong and Sasser were victorious in their respective matches. At sixth singles, the Quakers picked up a win by default.
Guilford will host Averett on Tuesday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m.
