FERRUM, Va. - Ferrum College scored a 9-0 women's tennis victory after a nonconference match Sunday over host Guilford College.
Ferrum improved to 4-5 on the season, while the Quakers dropped to 0-7.
The Panthers swept the three doubles matches by scores of 9-7, 8-1, and 8-1. The visitors also dominated in singles play, not allowing more than two points in a single game in six straight-set wins.

Brooklyn Hopkins played a competitive number-one doubles match before falling to the Panthers' Morgan Scott and Alexandria Dixon, 9-7. No Quakers saw a single set victory in singles play.
Coach Dave McCain's Quakers return to action March 24 against visiting Sweet Briar College at 12:00 pm.
