Box Score

GREENSBORO, N.C. –Guilford College's Amanda Dionne scored with 50 seconds left in regulation to lift the Quakers to an 11-10 lacrosse win over visiting Greensboro College Wednesday night.

Coming out of a Quakers' timeout, Guilford's Demming Carlow drew two defenders and dropped a pass off to Dionne, who stepped to the goal and scored with a low shot from close range to break the game's ninth and final tie. Carlow took and won the ensuing draw control, and the Quakers (2-5) ran out the clock for their second win in three games.

Dionne paced Guilford's offense with a game-high five goals, three in the first half. Teammates Taylor Campellone, Madison Iandoli and Summer Fowler each scored twice. Guilford won 11 of the contest's 20 draws, including seven of 10 in the second half. Carlow was in the circle for much of the second half and came up with a game-high four draw controls, plus six ground balls and two assists. Senior goalie Sammi Milbourn made four saves in goal.
