Guilford Nets Season-High 18 Goals in Women's Lacrosse Rout of Randolph

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Marina Bailey matched her career high with five goals and Demming Carlow added four in Guilford College's 18-2 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) lacrosse win over visiting Randolph College Wednesday night. The Quakers (4-5, 2-0 ODAC) netted a season-high 18 goals in their second ODAC win in as many games.

Bailey scored the game's opening goal and had four scores by halftime, which found Guilford ahead, 14-1. After Taylor Riccardi's man-up goal got Randolph (3-6, 1-1 ODAC) to within 2-1, the Quakers scored 14 straight times. Carlow also scored four first-half goals and assisted on another. Guilford held a 29-4 edge in shots in the opening half.

Holly Kozak and Amanda Dionne both netted three scores for Guilford, which had six different goal scorers. Taylor Campellone notched two goals and one assist. Bailey, Amber Dubois and Carter MacLeod shared game-high honors with five ground balls apiece. Carlow had four ground balls and also won a game-best four draw controls. Sammi Milbourn played nearly 44 minutes in goal and made two of the team's three saves before yielding to Sarah Sedaghat.

Riccardi and Hannah Bradley scored for the Wildcats, who were outshot, 42-7, and committed 26 turnovers. Ashton Ewers made 12 saves in goal.

Coach Sarah Lamphier's Quakers host league-rival Shenandoah University Saturday (4/2) at 1:00 p.m.
