GREENSBORO, N.C. – Guilford College won its Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's tennis opener Sunday, 8-1, over visiting Hollins University.

The Quakers (2-1, 1-0 ODAC) claimed all three doubles matches, including an 8-3 win by Haley Andrews and Allison Hewitt at first doubles over Hollins' Victoria Coffee and Madeline Perry.

Guilford clinched five of six singles matches, three by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Hewitt, Madison Giles, Fernanda Gonzalez and Nora Prokosch won at both singles and doubles for the Quakers.

Hollins' lone win came at first singles where Victoria Coffee claimed a 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 decision over Andrews.

The Quakers host league-rival Roanoke College Friday (2/28) at 3:00 p.m.
