GREENSBORO, N.C. – Visiting Methodist University claimed a 9-0 women's tennis decision over Guilford College Saturday.

The Monarchs, ranked ninth in the current Intercollegiate Tennis Association's NCAA Division III Atlantic South Region Poll, won all three doubles matches and both singles contests. Methodist's record is 3-1. Guilford falls to 1-1.

The Quakers are back in action Sunday against Hollins University in Guilford's Old Dominion Athletic Conference opener at 2:00 p.m. at the McMichael Centennial Class Courts.
