GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Nationally ranked Washington and Lee University took all nine matches from Guilford College's women's tennis team Sunday at the McMichael Centennial Class Courts. The match represented the Quakers' final regular season match.

The Generals did not drop a single set in its six singles victories. Guilford's (7-8, 4-7 ODAC) Allison Hewitt won a team-high six games, dropping her fifth singles match against Jen Hall, 6-3, 6-3. 

The Quakers' Natalie Sutton and Kim Kleimeier teamed for the team's sole doubles game, losing against their second doubles opponents Chelsea Mixon and Sallie Griffin, 8-1.

Washington and Lee (15-4, 11-0 ODAC) remained undefeated in conference matches and is ranked 18th in the Apr. 11 Division III ITA National Rankings.
