GREENSBORO, N.C. – Meegan Rourke scored seven goals and an assist in Roanoke College's 22-8 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) lacrosse win at Guilford College Saturday.

Rourke scored six times in the first half as the Maroons (5-5, 2-2 ODAC) netted the game's first nine goals en route to a 15-4 halftime advantage. Kathleen Wager scored all three of her goals in the first half, which saw seven different Maroons dent the twine.

Roanoke's Jamie Golden also scored three times and added an assist. Teammate Carolyn Miller also finished with three scores. Gina Valles tallied two goals and two assists for the Maroons, who enjoyed a 41-23 edge in shots. Cristina Schichilone, the third of three Roanoke goaltenders, made six of her team's eight saves in the game's final 26:24.

The Quakers' Sarah Bradburd scored a team-high three goals. E'leyna Garcia added one score and two assists. Liza Mettler had 12 stops in goal.
