BRIDGEWATER, Va. (3/21/10) -- Hannah Merrell scored four goals to lead Guilford College to a 16-11 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) lacrosse win at Bridgewater College Sunday.

Emily Egan and Summer Frazier both added three scores for Guilford (4-3, 1-1 ODAC), which snapped a three-game losing skid.

The Eagles (4-5, 0-4 ODAC) grabbed an early 3-2 lead before Guilford ripped off five straight goals and ended the first half on a 7-2 run. Egan scored two goals and an assist during the run and Frazier added two scores.

Kate Moulton's third goal of the game drew the Eagles to within 13-11 with 13:37 left in regulation before the Quakers scored the final three tallies. Shelly Nogueira scored her second goal of the game and Merrell scored her final two goals to provide the final margin.

Nogueira (2g, 2a) and teammate Ellie Merritt (1g, 3a) both finished with four points on the day. Alyzza-May Callahan made 13 saves in goal.

Moulton's three goals led the Eagles. Mary Robinson and Leslie Crawford both added two goals and an assist for Bridgewater. Colleen Schwind made 12 saves in goal.

The Quakers host league-rival Hollins University Wednesday (3/24) at 4:30 p.m.
