GREENSBORO, N.C. (4/5/09) - Hannah Merrell scored three goals and two assists in Guilford College's 17-6 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's lacrosse win over visiting Bridgewater College Sunday.

The Quakers (5-8, 2-3 ODAC) scored the game's first five goals and closed out the first half on a 6-1 run for an 11-3 halftime lead.

Guilford had seven different goal scorers, including six multiple-goal scorers. Carrie Ernst and Shelly Noguiera both contributed four points on three goals and one assist. Ellie Merritt scored three goals. Summer Frazier had a solid all-around game with two goals, an assists, five ground balls and a game-high six draw controls.

Leslie Crawford and Mary Robinson both scored twice for the Eagles (5-7, 1-4 ODAC). Goalie Colleen Schwind made 11 saves in goal and Brooke Barham picked up a game-high seven ground balls.

The Quakers entertain Lynchburg College Wednesday (4/8) at 6:30 p.m. in an ODAC game.
