Roanoke, Va. (4/2/07) -- Guilford College's women's lacrosse team recorded its second shutout in school history with a 14-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory at Hollins University Monday afternoon. The Quakers move to 6-5 with their fifth straight win, 3-2 in the ODAC. Hollins drops to 0-9 (0-4 ODAC).

The Quakers accomplished all the scoring in the game's first 25 minutes and did not allow a shot. Nine of the 14 goals were assisted. Leah Stettner, Jenn Maynard and Carrie Ernst each scored twice for Guilford. Ernst also added eight draw controls, one shy of the school record. Mary Hutchins scored once and had four assists. The Quakers outshot their hosts, 22-0, and corralled all 16 draw controls in the match.

Guilford hosts Roanoke Saturday in an ODAC match at 3:30 p.m.
