Roanoke, VA (04/11/01) – Junior Georgia Luck (Ashland, VA) led host Hollins to a 12-8 women's lacrosse win scoring a game-high five goals and dishing out two assists. Senior Emily Chewning (Manakin-Sabot, VA) also had a strong game contributing three goals and two assists for the victors.
Guilford freshman Kathryn Ragin (Pawleys Island, SC) paced the Quakers with a career-high five goals in the loss, and leads the team in scoring with 26 goals and seven assists. Her 26 tallies match the most in a season by a rookie since Kim Austin '93 had 26 in 1990. Rookie Lauren Goodwin (Newburyport, MA) made seven saves in goal.
The Quakers travel to Sweet Briar on Saturday April 14 for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup beginning at 2:00 PM.
