Guilford College

Robby Wise enters his first season as Athletic Trainer at Guilford College under Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist after being hired into the role in the spring of 2026.

Wise is a licensed athletic trainer with 20 years of experience spanning collegiate athletics, industrial sports medicine, ergonomics, and occupational health. Specifically, he has held leadership roles in both higher education and industry, including serving as Assistant Director of Athletic Health Care at Wingate University, Injury Prevention Supervisor with Premise Health, and Industrial Sports Medicine Professional with Briotix Health.

Wise is a graduate from California University of Pennsylvania with an MS in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, and Rehabilitation Science. He also holds a BS in Athletic Training from Greensboro College.

Wise now resides in Pleasant Garden, N.C. with his wife Leah and two kids Laurel and Paxton.
