Babnik enters his third season as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer. He joined Guilford after spending time as an Athletic Trainer and Clinical Assistant at Murphy Wainer Orthopedics in Greensboro. Prior to his time at Murphy Wainer, Babnik was the Head Athletic Trainer at Greensboro College for six years.
He has also been the Head Athletic Trainer for the Carolina Cobras, the National Arena League football team in Greensboro. Babnik spent time as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Greensboro College after being a graduate assistant athletic trainer at SUNY Cortland.
Babnik graduated from SUNY Cortland with a bachelor of science in athletic training (2011) and a master of science degree in community health (2013).
Babnik currently resides in Greensboro with his wife Megan and daughter Olivia.
