Megan Raymond enters her first year in the role of Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, after being hired to the position in July of 2026.
Raymond is a 2025 summa cum laude graduate of Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire, where she earned a degree in Sports Media with a minor in Management. A member and captain of the field hockey team, Raymond also served in leadership roles off the field as a member of the executive boards for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Morgan's Message.
Raymond began her work in athletic communications as a student worker for Franklin Pierce Athletics and Ravens Sports Network where she gained experience in game day operations, social media content creation, and livestream production. She later served as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant at Franklin Pierce, acting as the primary contact for six varsity teams while producing press releases, game recaps, graphics, and digital content. She also managed game statistics and game day operations for multiple athletic events.
In addition to her collegiate athletics experience, Raymond spent four summers with the Worcester Bravehearts of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, serving in roles including Production Intern, Production Manager, Outreach and Media Coordinator, and Group Experience Coordinator. There, she contributed to broadcast production, social media, community outreach, and ticket sales efforts.
Raymond is passionate about telling the stories behind college athletics through written, visual, and digital media. She strives to highlight the achievements and personalities of student-athletes while creating engaging content to connect the campus and community with Guilford athletics.
