Hannah Lambeth '24 enters her first season as head coach of the Guilford College women's swimming and diving program after being hired in October of 2024.
A Quaker herself as an undergrad, Lambeth competed for four seasons on the GC swimming squad prior to her graduation with a Sport Management degree in the spring. While she was competing herself, the Durham, N.C. native cut her teeth in coaching at the youth levels serving as Site Director and Assistant Coach at the Greensboro YMCA, organizing and conducting practices for the swim program there.
Always around the pool, Lambeth also is a certified lifeguard, a role in which she serves at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. In addition, she held an Event Management Internship with the GAC, and also aided the Greensboro Sports Foundation’s hosting of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), and NCAA Division-III Swimming & Diving Championships. As an athlete herself, she has competed in the sport at various levels for 11 years.
Lambeth takes over a program that is fresh off their top finish at the ODAC Swimming Championships since the 2016-17 season, sending eight competitors to the meet, their highest total in ten years.
