Career

  • owns three of the school’s top-eight marks, highlighted by a leap of 13.16 meters at the 2019 Last Minute Invitational

2019-20 

  • competed in three indoor meets this season
  • recorded a season-best distance of 12.76 meters in the triple jump at the VMI Indoor Classic, which was good for 19th place
  • at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships, Hedrick finished sixth in the long jump (6.52m) and 11th in the triple jump (12.70m)
  • ran a leg for Guilford’s 4x400 relay that ran the fifth-fastest time in school history (3:31.33) at the VMI Indoor Classic

2018-19

  • Third Team All-ODAC in the outdoor long jump after placing third at league championships
  • specialized­ in sprints and jumps
  • competed in three outdoor meets
  • ran on Guilford’s 4x100 relay team with Juwan Houston, Desmond Marshall, and Asa Bell that notched the second-fastest time in school history (43.61 seconds) at the Phoenix Invitational
  • posted season-best triple jump (13.45 meters) at the Phoenix Invite and ranks sixth in school history
  • finished third in the long jump at the W&L Carnival with a leap of 6.59 meters

2017-18

  • competed in six indoor meets 
  • ran his best 60-meter time (7.55) at the Wake Forest Invitational
  • posted the second-best mark in school history in the triple jump (13.14m) at the Wake Forest Invitational
  • recorded the Quakers’ season-best mark in the long jump (6.32) at the UCS Invitational (2/17)
  • had four top-10 finishes in the triple jump and two in the long jump
  • competed in five outdoor events
  • recorded the second-best triple jump in Quaker history (13.56m) at the Dr. Jack Toms Invite (3/23)
  • also posted the fourth (13.50m) and sixth (13.43) best triple jumps during this season
  • leaped 6.60m in the long jump--the seventh-best ever Quaker mark--at the Terrier Relays (3/30)
  • member of the 4x100 relay team which placed fourth (44:51 time) and earned the Quakers five team at the ODAC Championships (4/20) 

2016-17

  • competed in the 200, long and triple jump in the spring
  • had each of Guilford’s four top triple jumps
  • ran a 23.70 in the 200 at Dr. Jack M. Toms Open (3/25), which was the Quakers’ second-best time of the year
  • had his best long jump (6.49m) at the Aggie Invitational, which was also Guilford’s second-best and the ODAC's ninth-best this season
  • finished ninth in the high jump at the ODAC Championships (6.26 meters)
  • had a 12.84 wind-aided triple jump May 14 at the Aggie Last Chance Meet, which was the Quakers’ longest of the year and seventh-best in the conference
  • his 12.68–meter triple jump stands seventh-best in the league
  • competed in three meets this winter
  • placed seventh in the field for team-leading 12.56-meter triple jump at the UCS Invitational 
  • ran a season-best 200-meter time (25.47 seconds) at the Wake Forest Invitational, which was the Quakers ninth-fastest time this year
  • had the Quakers' sixth-fastest 400 time with a season-best 56.91 at the Finn Pincus Invitational

  • named to ODAC's 2017-18 Sportsmanship Team
  • four-year football letter winner at Guilford
  • three-time ODAC All-Academic Team member
  • seven-time member of Guilford's Student-Athlete Honor Roll

  • earned four letters in track and field for coach Larry Ratliff at Southern Guilford High School
