2010-2011: Participated in the 200-, 400- and 800-meter dashes in the Quakers' outdoor season... personal-best finish came in the VertKlasse Meeting Apr. 17 when he placed ninth (51.90) in the 400.... ran the 200 in 23.88 at the VertKlasse Meeting and ran the 800 in 2:13.79 at the Lynchburg College Track Classic Apr. 9... Personal: Lettered three years in track under coach Prince Castell at Knightdale High School… won the 2006 Greater Neuse River Conference outdoor 400 meters crown… anchored Knightdale’s 800 meter relay that placed third in the 2009 1A state championships… earned All-America honors at the 2009 Nike Outdoor Nationals in the 800 meter relay … son of Wesley Barnes and Eugina Barnes… cousin of All American running back and Washington Redskins player Kelvin Bryant.
