2016-17

• posted a 7-4 singles record primarily at third singles
• recorded a 12-9 doubles mark mostly at second doubles
• ranked fourth on the team with 19 total wins
• went 2-2 and 6-3 in ODAC singles and doubles play respectively
• recorded three 8-1 doubles victories with teammate Chasen Chacon against Greensboro, Randolph-Macon, and Emory and Henry

2015-16 

• enjoyed a strong start to his collegiate career and earned 10 total victories
• owned a 4-2 singles record, primarily out of the number-six position where he was 4-1
• Pearson paired with sophomore Chasen Chacon to record a 6-9 doubles record at the number-two doubles spot
• won in both singles and doubles three times, including two wins over rivals from  25th-ranked Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC)-rival Washington and Lee University

Personal

• named to the 2018 ITA Division III All-Academic Team
• presented on Business Ethics Issues at Guilford's 2018 Undergraduate Symposium 
• two-time Academic All-ODAC honoree
• four-time member of Guilford's Student-Athlete Honor Roll
• dean's list student
• transferred to Guilford in January 2016 from N.C. State University where he did not play tennis
• lettered four years at Grimsley High School
• reached the 2012 North Carolina High School Athletic Association State 4-A Doubles finals with teammate Will Albright
• named First Team All-Area by the News & Record in 2012
• 2012 Metro 4-A Conference Player of the Year
• helped the Whirlies to a 13-3 record and a third-round appearance in the 2012 state playoffs
• earned a Service Learning Diploma and Exemplary Award from Grimsley in 2012
