Guilford College

Allen Smith was introduced as the new Head Men's Golf Coach in July of 2023.

Smith joins the Quaker staff after spending the past two years as an assistant coach at Old Dominion Athletic Conference member, University of Lynchburg. During his time with the Hornets, he helped with the recruiting process while also maintaining communication with the alumni base.

The Durham, North Carolina native played collegiately at fellow ODAC, Hampden-Sydney. During his four years with the Tigers, he was a three-time member of the All-ODAC Second Team while being named ODAC Co-Rookie of the Year for 2017-18. He was also a three-time member of the ODAC All-Academic Team while also earning Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar in 2019-20.

Smith recently completed his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Lynchburg. In 2021, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampden-Sydney College.
