Matthew McKeow2012

  • participated in five events for the Quakers this season
  • best eight-kilometer time came September 28 at the Charlotte XC Invitational where he finished 201st in 29:17.98.
  • best finish came September 7 in the five-kilometer UNC Wilmington Invitational where he placed 28th in 17:30.
  • his time ranks 19th in school history.

  • named to Guilford's Student-Athlete Honor Roll
  • student in Guilford's the Continuing Education program
  • lives in Winston-Salem with his wife, Cara, and their sons, Micaiah and Phoenix
  • lettered three years in cross country and track at Boiling Springs High School under coach Jeff Ethington
  • also lettered twice in wrestling
  • twice received All-Spartanburg County and all-region honors in track
  • also garnered all-county recognition three times and all-region honors once in cross country
  • twice qualified for the South Carolina State Championships in track and three times in cross country
  • helped his high school team become the first cross country team in school history to qualify for the South Carolina State Championships
