Quakers Women Picked Seventh in ODAC Preseason Poll

FOREST, Va. - Guilford College's women's tennis team was picked seventh in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Coaches' Poll Thursday. Washington and Lee University received 10 of 11 first-place votes and Hollins University picked up the final top vote.

Guilford, under the direction of Dave McCain for the second year, returns two letter winners from last year's 8-11 club. The Quakers earned 49 votes in the preseason poll. Junior Adelaide Ayres and sophomore Natalie Sutton are the lone veterans from last year's squad.

The Quakers host Bluefield College Feb. 10 in the opening match of their spring season.
