Guilford's Eilman Lands All-ODAC Honor

GREENSBORO, N.C. (11/9/10) -- Guilford College junior Bri Eilman earned Second Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors for the second straight season Tuesday. All-conference nominations and selections are made by the league's head coaches.

Eilman, a midfielder, played in 16 games of the Quakers' 19 games, starting in 15. She ranked second on the team in scoring with 12 points on four goals and four assists. With 0.25 assists per match, Eilman ranked 10th among the ODAC leaders. She scored twice in Guilford's 9-0 victory over Peace College Sept. 5 and had a career-best three assists in the Quakers' Sept. 10 win over Bluefield College. Through two seasons, she has 11 goals, eight assists and 30 points in 33 Guilford contests.

Coach Eric Lewis' Quakers ended the season with a 6-11-2 record, 3-6-2 in the ODAC. Guilford reached the ODAC Tournament for the 20th straight season, but was eliminated in the quarterfinal round by eventual tournament champion Lynchburg College. Lewis expects 21 letter winners to return in 2011, including Eilman.
