Amstutz Leads Quakers at Hagan-Stone Classic, Quakers Place Seventh

PLEASANT GARDEN, N.C - Guilford College men's and women's cross country  each placed seventh out of nine teams at Saturday morning's Hagan-Stone Classic. The men finished with 183 points while the women scored 164.

Caleb Amstutz led the Quakers with an eight kilometer time of 28:38.24. The time was his best time of the year by 1:18. The finish also stands 88th all-time in Guilford history in the program's top-100 times.

Colin Dossel ran the second-fastest Guilford time at 30:20.63. The time represents a 1:35 improvement from his previous season-best.

Coach Danny Cash's Quakers take a break from competition with the College's fall break approaching, returning to action October 29th for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship at Vista Links Golf Club in Lexington, Va., hosted by Washington and Lee University.
